The gift that is sometimes an enemy is the gift of freedom, which too many people willingly give up, probably because with it comes responsibility, and that is just too hard for a lot of people to deal with. The idea that somebody could interpret this song as being about anal sex is just INSANE and incredibly stupid. I agree with meh-- what kind of person comes to such an idiotic conclusion first??? (Or at all, for that matter!) The answer: somebody whose mind is in the toilet! Anybody who truly appreciates Brandon's lyrics knows there is a great deal of sophistication in them.
