normally i am a classicrock type of grl.. i dont like the newer music because from my understandin its all about the money and the song makes no since at all.. this song is one of the very few newer ones i can relate to..( and it has a greTe beat) over all i like this song and it is in my top ten right now

This song is ona completely different level. The way the music and the lyrics seem to back each other in feeling and emotion is unbelievable. Incubus isn't my favorite band by any means, but this one song does sit in my top ten of greatest songs ever.

I like this song from Incubus,and every song they ever wrote is just as awsome but these guys like every other musician write music to send a message or to tell a story...I love Music!!! Its there for you in ways no one could be. Music helps us cope with alot.And if you love music your not going to judge it. What just because you dont like it? Or because its not your taste? Or because you never heard or them before? No people,you got it all wrong.Most music is sublininal messages to tell a story,
Honestly i dont like certin genres in music.But I admit I listen then judge So how bout having an open mind and give All Music a chance before you judge it. Who knows maybe you might have alot more songs in your i-pod...

If people were to listen to different music they would see. That most songs have a story to them. Rock and roll isn't just noise polution all rap isn't about money and the high life. Country has some of the most meaningfull storys out there. Im a firm believer that you don't judge a book by its cover. I love all kinds of music from clasical, smooth jazz, speed metal, steam punk, rap, country and everything in between. All music is awesome you just have to give it a chance. This song here is one of my all time favoriets. All music is wonderfull just give it a chance.

i dont agree with everything incubus views on (yeah there not perfect, nobody is) so its ironic the meaning of a person viewing the world and is tired of it. i can relate to some of the crap in the world i would like to live without (us all) but i like most of em and its a pretty good album

Personally, I believe that Incubus is a band with very meaningful lyrics in most of their songs. However, thats just how I interpret the song, so its possible that no one else sees those lyrics as meaningful. I think that everyone can agree on how Epic Incubus is. Having seen Incubus live 3 days ago and being completely blown away, still, is nothing but Epic.

Incubus is good music but not the only good music with "real" lyrics. What about Tool i think their lyrics blow incubus away, even though incubus is still good they are not the only band that writes meaningful lyrics.

A lot of you folks are very closed minded it seems, about music. I'm guessing you're some of the people who say "I listen to everything but country and rap." You would listen to an Immortal Technique song and say "Oh man, this is stupid, he has no message, he's all about bitchz and hoez." Despite the fact that his songs have strong views on capitalism, anti-violence, religion, and all sorts of other things. You have to stop viewing the world through a cardboard tube. Broadening horizons is the only way to fully understand.
Incubus is real music, but not the only real music. Art is art. It all comes from a soul. It's people like you guys who dismiss it, ignore it, shrug it off as nothing that punishes greatness. Just because it's not your taste means nothing. You are not the definite power. You are but one.

I agree very much with what everyone else has said, and Henry Alexander. Incubus is one of the few bands out there that still makes real music. Talent like theirs is hard to come by....but when it is the music is simply amazing.
I think the song personally is about being tired of the world, and just wanting to give up sometimes. Thanks to all the idiots in the world...

i agree with all you guys. Incubus is the only misic which is lycirally and musically satasfying anymore. The complexity of the lyrics and the fact that they actually mean something is why i cant bear to listen to much else other than Incubus. All the albums are so great. why can t music stay like thatt? yes, it would take more time and effort for songwriters, but most people havent experienced real music yet. They believe that 50 cent and kaynae west is real music that tics all the boxes. I dont know about you guys but they couldnt be more wrong. They just lack the same effort as incubus songs. like aniti-gravity love story, it leaves me speechless every time

My opinion about it is very simple, Incubus is a band with a unique style, OWNED!
So, the lyrics and the melody is very plural, hard rock, alternative, some of rap... Give us the correct message.

I like this song the best, some days you just want to explode (or burst into flames) and this is a great song when something cheery just upsets you more and you just want something to match your mood. Even if you have no idea what the crap Incubus is talking about sometimes, about anyone can at least relate to one of their songs.

i hate the rap on the MTV and BET, a lot of it is bullshit and the previous reviews are very true, not everything is about money, sex and such. Im a rapper myself but i like to rap about shit that everyone can relate too, I got songs about how friends decisions effect you as much as they effect themselves, i have a song about my life called home, inspirational songs, stories, i covered "Epiphany" by staind, i did a remix of "42" by Coldplay rapping. If music is something we are supposed to relate to, why does everyone listen to rap, nobody gets money like that, its kinda funny if you ask me, if anyone care to check my music out, go here

The interpretations made are coming from different viewpoints; As many have said, he is sick of all the chaos and madness of the Earth. I think he means that he'll rise above it all. He'll make it, but he wont ever be the same.
