I agree with what Debbie said, the song is truly and indeed SIMPLY PERFECT. At least you have a cool song (OF COURSE BY INCUBUS) that could remind you some things. Go work it out, GIRL! You rock! You are not alone. Try listening to their song Diamonds and Coal... you might like it :)
Though, I was wondering why Incubus was able to create the song. I mean what's the reason behind it. Hmmm... simply intriguing at the same time.

After being married for 22yrs & finally hitting a very hard time, this song brings it all into perspective. We are Oil & Water, but we will work it out & mix, regardless of what it takes. Incubus hit the bullseye with this song! I love it & makes me know that we are not alone.

incubus rocks....this song is TRUE.it's like saying to you directly to wake up and face the reality that some things can't be mixed and fixed. BEEN THERE THAN THAT AS WELL.
regarding the drums, it is hard rockin', I love the roll they did in this song..in a different view, song could've been a ballad type but w/ a powerful voice w/ that of Brandon's, he made it an extraordinary song!!! way to go INCUBUS! Mike Einziger...take care always. Love you

i dont see this song like everyone else does.
have you ever seen oil and water? its beautiful.
despite the fact that it doesnt mix at all, its amazing together.
call it what it is is left to interpretation. what it is to me isnt the same as everyone else.
