naaaaah, in flames used to be a great melodic death band, before they sold out to the american rap money and started doing shit that none metal bands such as korn and limp biscuit (pffffffffff) would.be proud of.....to sum up, only Dark Tranquillity remain the gods of the genre

Really? | Reviewer: Kaze | 9/30/10

This song may not have the best solo out there, but they have tons of others that do. (you obviously fell off the ban wagon.) Condemned's solo is short but sick, and December Flower and Colony have some awesome guitar!(Jesper's one badass guitar player!!!)

Oh and if your looking for other bands, try Soilwork, or All That Remains. (Though nothing contends with In Flames!)

Thier solos are some of the more melodic out there | Reviewer: Montywayne@netzero.net | 5/28/10

To the poster that said their solo's should include more scales and shredding, there are many instances where In Flames has incorporated sweep picking, tremelo, and even palm mute triplets. Listen to the solo of the song December Flower, and you'll be getting far more than you bargained for if sweeping and raw skill are your limerence. BTW, shredding can lessen the melody, and in flames has evolved where skill and show are not as important, some of the most intense melodies are actually quite easy to play, just remember that they are near unthinkable to construct. *In Flames We Trust.

in flames has some crappy solos | Reviewer: dac | 5/7/10

whats the point of having 2 lead guitarists, if neither of them have more than 2 decent guitar solos? come on now, learn some scales and shred some more!!!!

also... Arch enemy is in the same genre as in flames because its Gothamburg metal (commonly called Melodic death metal), but its not really about the music as a whole, its about both the styles used, and the region the band is from, SCANDONAVIA

In flames are just great!

but well. I woulnd't actually consider Arch Enemy as same genre. Though its not about the music, it all about if you like it or not.

But if In Flames should be grouped with someone it should be soilwork, at the gates and dark tranquility in my oppinion!

In flames rule | Reviewer: In Flames <3 | 8/30/08

<3 In Flames, this song is incredible. But still my favorite is Dark Signs at the minute. oh and bordes and shading.. and trigger. and whoracle... and Come Clarity.. oh who am i kidding, i can go on like this forever!
/Salute In Flames!

amazing song | Reviewer: mike | 6/24/08

someone looking for something actually considered the same genre? look for Arch Enemy, not quite so melodic, and a lot heavier, but they are considered to be the same genre, and in flames influenced arch enemy a lot

Live Preformance | Reviewer: Sneaky Noob | 2/5/08

oh man, i saw this song live when in flames was playing at a muti artist concert called Sounds of the Underground that takes place every year in Vancouver,Bc,Canada

they played this song and the mosh pit was AMAZING! i had bruises on my feet for the next week, than once they started playing Come Clarity, everyone took there lighters out and moved with the song :D

i agree | Reviewer: M | 11/18/07

the quiet place , only for the weak and jotun are also great song, in flames really does the "blending" so succesfully

Ownage song. | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/31/07

Well I always thought Soilwork and In Flames were quite alike. There's a small difference in the lyrics, but it's still quite close.
So I don't forget, this song is zeh best.
