this song is about a girl who has an affiar(the moment i said it)when she tells her husband he gets mad and starts to drink and gets drunk. when he comes home hes still mad so he calls someone to come pick him up and calm him down but its taking to long so he just drives himself and gets in a car crash and dies.this song is amazing my dance team danced to it and her voice is just amazing.

its a song ... for her lover ...
who has someone else in his life .... and shes figured it out, and thats what this songs tells... her feelings...and she explains it!.... her love is strong, and she is willing to work things out, hopefull for her lover to come around.. save her marriage perhaps..... in end she says... your gonna throw it all away ... all away!

Chills | Reviewer: Julie | 9/29/09

wow... i am suprised.. i had never heard this song... but then decided to listen to it and i am extremely happy with what i found, and heard. it is really interesting. i love her voice, and all of the interesting riffs she can do with it. she has a gift, not only for singing, but for portraying an image within mine, and everyone elses head who decides to interprit this song. bravo. i am in awe.

Meaning | Reviewer: JAV | 7/20/09

I also agree this song is about an argument. I take it as a guy being drunk and arguing with a woman who is trying to calm him down. She says something that sends his temper over the top and he calls a friend to get out of the house because he does not want to fight. He is becoming more and more angry when she tells him to put back the car keys. He begins to yell. She may have never heard him scream and tremble with anger this much and lets him know he is scaring her. He leaves, crashes the car...and at the end, I feel you hear his heartbeat coming to an end....This chick really can produce a vivid image and bring to mind cetain catastophies that could have happen to many of us out there....Fantastic and incredibly produced! Bravo Girl!

My meaning | Reviewer: Michaela | 7/14/09

I love this song so much. From what I can tell the man is most likely drunk because of the "you're not thinking straight" and in the arguement in the background you can hear him saying "I'm fine" at least twice. But he could just be angry and not thinking clearly. I love acting out music and evey time I do this song I act like I get a call from the hospital saying he's dead. I know it's weird but I love acting. And I love this song.

Its a car crash | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/14/09

I swear this song is about a car crash "Just put back the car keys" and "smash". She told him she had an affair "the moment i said it". And then he or she had a car crash bcos of it. Maybe he was really angry "your scaring me".

I believe this to be an amazing song. It's funny really. This one reminds me of my boyfriend. He has compulsion and bipolar. Well... the compulsion got him into stealing cars (usually with the doors open and keys on the passenger seat -yes i know some people are just stupid- but one time he smashed a window to get into the car to get the key on the passenger seat... and the bipolar would make him so pissed off when you would tell him he'd get caught. But no, he'd never get caught. He then eventually started on checks... having someone write them and he cashed em... but no he wouldn't get caught because even tho there's cameras'... they didn't work or something. You know... ignore me... with each thing he stole it brought us closer to being ripped apart. no matter how many times i begged him to not go out those nights i knew something was up. and what happened... a month ago he got caught by the cops... and has been in jail for that whole month... and of course he didn't listen... and of course he missed out on one of the most important things... the birth of our child. No matter how many times i begged him not to, for me, for her... he never listened, with each thing he took... he became more and more like someone i never knew. I was slowly loosing him to the ecstasy of theft.

Amazing | Reviewer: Ballerina | 6/24/09

I first heard this song in my ballet class. It was the first day I went. When we danced to it I just felt like a ballerina for some reason. It was probably something about the piano parts. I didn't hear it again for a couple of months. Then we danced to it again and immediately after class I downloaded it. It's such an amazing song. And definitely my favorite. It's sad, and you can feel her pain. But the meaning is unclear. Everytime I hear it I think of dancing. And I don't know why. But then when I really think about it, there's a story going on. And I can see it in my head. I have no idea how she does it, but Imogen Heap is a genius.

What I love about music is there's no concrete meaning within songs..Unless it's something very obvious. Opinions, interpretation, as long as you find connection makes it so meaningful. I think Imogen accomplished that. :)

Great song.
