Note that Cube initially took the high road by making almost no reference to NWA in his breakout album (Amerikkka's most wanted). No vaseline came out in the second album. In response to the naysayers that point to the fact that Cube is now a poster child for Disney. So what? He is a grown ass man now. How many young black males have thrown away their lives buying into this crap. What happened to the black culture that produced Coltrane, Art Tatum, Jimi Hendrix, James Brown, Otis Redding, Barry White, Isaac Hayes and so many more. I like some rap - early Snoop, Dr. Dre, Tupac and a couple others but the negative effect this music is having on the black community will take a long time to repair.
