Way to good for you | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/18/05 Star rating: **** Album: Hilary Duff Artist: Hilary Duff The album is called Hilary Duff and it is sung by Hilary Duff, it features one of her number one hits fly and someone’s watching over me, which was featured in her latest movie ‘Raise your voice’. In this album Hilary completely reinvents herself from a young innocent child to a teen queen. The album itself was named the number one album of 2004, you can really see the difference from metamorphis to Hilary Duff, the songs are more rock then pop and less girly. I have to say that this album is way better then her past ones because the songs have more meaning to them then before. Unfortunately Hilary doesn’t sing to a very good standard she has a lot of potential and everything is going for her. Although her voice isn’t exactly amazing the catchy tunes and fantastic instrumentals make up for it. I think it is a little disappointing that her voice isn’t quite up to the songs notes. But you can’t go past the great guitar features and plain rock. The strongest song in this album is definitely Someone’s watching over me she sings it perfectly and the notes she sings are the right pitch. She didn’t quite make it in I am and Who’s that girl but I think we can forgive her for that. I think that this album is a great one to listen to the whole way through. The first time I heard it I didn’t like it, but after I heard it more and more I started to actually listen to it. I think it takes a bit of getting use to, I don’t think that this album has reached its full potential. All I have to say is I were you I would go hit the shops before she sells out.
