I'm learning this song for my singing class.....and it was difficult to learn at first but then i got the hang of it! It is is one of the best Heart songs ever! Its got a range of vocals...for example at one minute you can be singing really low and the next thing you know your singing higher than you would ever think

On my old vinyl copy of the album, on the lyrics innersleeve it's listed as `` homegirl'' for the first and third verses and ``home, girl'' for the 2nd verse.
I heard on an interview too that the phrase ``Come on home girl'' in the first and third verses it's actually ``Come on, homegirl'' (lady from the same town, a term of affection used by the man to entice the woman along) and in the 2nd verse from her mother it's ``Come on home, girl'' (you need to listen to your mama). Subtle but interesting difference.

The incredible rock and roll soundtrack of the 1970's could not be complete without this masterpiece from Heart.
Immediately, an infectious guitar lick and the haunting voice of Ann Wilson pulls you deep into a purple haze of pleasure, and you're instantly transported back to the days when love was free.
A child of the 70s or not, you will feel like you were there with every note. Classic rock and roll at its very best!

Although many people are not into rock (even you if you're not into rock) should definatily give it a try...Anyway this band is awesome and you'd be mad not to like their songs.The lyrics are fantastic and clever and the tune is great i could listen to this for hours just like "Crazy On You" which is another song by Heart. Which is once again fantastic. Although the down side is if you dont like 80's rock or anything like that then i recommend you listen to the more 70's style songs but either way this band is awesome and most of the time You dont't need to love rock to love them this song stole my Heart i cant stop listening to it and cant help but sing it. If i was giving a rating id rate it 9/10 great song but if yoi really really really dont like rock then its not really going to appeal to you.
