Where does it say she's married???? I;m in love with another man doesn't mean she's married!! It was a place I knew well. That can mean that it is a Hotel near or not too far from where she lives. The man she's in love love with can't have kids... Ok. She wants them. What would you do? Leave the love of your life cause of that or.... Idiots.
these lyrics are so bad, they are good. | Reviewer: the rickster | 2/27/08
I heard this song on my clock radio this morning, and it brought back memories...bad memories. These song lyrics definintely rank in the top five worst lyrics ever. There isn't a cliche that the Heart sisters miss in this howler. Backed by mediocre music, the tortured insipid rhymes bear up to repeated listens because they are so over-the-top awful. Anybody who wants to throw away $15 to buy this CD -- just send me the money if you're going to throw it away on this junk.
I love this song | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/30/08
This song reminds me of my girlfriend whom I had to leave behind. Not because of the lyrics, but because we listened to this song many times at night and they were the best moments of my life. So even though the lyrics don't apply to us, this song can still make me sad and miss my sweetie <3
Such is life!! | Reviewer: Anonymous | 8/6/07
Many couples out there cannot have kids. That she had the courage to pick up the guy on a rainy night and go all the way shows that she is a woman who knows what she wants and no distance is too far to get it!!! If her partner is happy with this decision then it really was only ONE night - small price to pay for a lovely child in our troubled world....
wedding bliss | Reviewer: looneyeclipse | 5/28/07
lol @ j.... That may or may not be the perfect song , depending on the kind of marriage one aspires to have. If one aspires to marry some dorkhead cause they have more money than sense, well, then the song might fit perfectly lmao... and I doubt she knew the place well because she passed it by every day on her way to sing in the choir, in her hometown church.
"Oh, I shall love and cherish you,and bake chocolate chip cookies each weekend. Oh, btw, I've been getting banged by someone at the Plaintree Motel, and now I'm prego"
"You may have given me a ring, but he rang my door"
"Now be a good little hubby and go fetch the diapers at the store already"
Love? | Reviewer: JollyMolly | 4/10/07
To me it seems she really loves her husband and that is good. It also could be interpreted that all he couldn't give her was a child.
The only thing contrasting with this is the line "It was a place I knew well" which indeed suggests that this is a frequent behavior for her. What think ye others?
Good start to a wedding. | Reviewer: j | 1/8/06
Did you happen to read the lyrics darling, it's about a woman who is married. She drives around, finds some guy on the street, takes him to a hotel (that she frequents), and then has his kid. I'm sure your husband will really appreciate that as a wedding song, D'oh!
