Way out of danger. | Reviewer: Redeemed | 1/7/13
Jesus loves you, the person who's reading. He has a plan and purpose for your life. You aren't an accident. The terrible things that happened in your life He did not intend to happen. Jesus is God, and has all the answers you're looking for. If you pray to Him (aka talk to Him) He will answer you. Diligently seek Him, and you will find Him. Jesus has been given the authority to judge the all the people who have ever lived, and He will do this very soon. Everyone has done things that don't please God (not doing the ten commandments, not following Matthew 5-7), and everyone that has done displeasing things ("sin") will die and go to hell to die over and over forever. But Jesus doesn't want you to go there, that's why He took your death penalty and sins on Himself. He was and is perfect, and He didn't have to die for you/in your place, but He wanted to. He wants you to be in heaven with Him forever. You can be with Him forever if you put your complete trust in Him. Become closer to Him by reading the Bible and praying to Jesus. Jesus is good. Jesus is God. Jesus is holy. Jesus is perfect. Jesus is the God of the Jews.

been around the world...... | Reviewer: Anonymous | 1/16/12
Yikes! I am 66 years old and this is one of my all time favorite songs. Absolutely brilliant lyrics....I have the CD, other nice song on it is Carlotta Valdez...in my life I have "been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding"...they were one hit wonders and definetly hit the bulls eye with this one....stay "well"!
responsibility | Reviewer: clevernick | 12/7/11
it's strange how now that i'm older, adults who are much younger than me categorize my behavior and though patterns as being "typically adult" and lacking in fun.
this song came out in 1998, when i had just turned 18, and i remember that by that time, i was already becoming aware of how humans unconsciously gravitate towards groupthink, and of how people are ignorant about --and uninterested in-- their own behavior. about how instead they are generally much more interested in though patterns that lead them to having less responsibility and less control over their lives, their feelings and their decisions.
as you get older, you find out that this situation remains the same. people your own age remain this way. people older than you become worse. and people younger than you, who have the potential to change, choose not to.
no wonder older people other than myself take so much solace in nostalgia. they yearn for the time when their own ignorance allowed this way of thinking to make some vague sense.
Love 90's Rock | Reviewer: Paul | 10/27/11
I'm only 14 but before you read this I understand I don't remember anything before the 2000's. Which gives me pains every day considering now were cursed with shit music. We just don't have music like this anymore. But times change and soon there won't be anything but faded memories of great music. So I'll make a promise to keep rock from dying even if its just me fighting I will try my god damned hardest cause one day I wan't my kids and my grand kids to put on some headphones and go deaf.

Used the line "I'm not sick but I'm not well" on profile got rejected as a perv. had to call and plead my case: aproved.
Also had large copy of lyrics posted above desk at work.
Really sent very strong vibes to BOTH those who understood and even better to those who did not.
Jesus I'm 57 F'M if they can not Think or get a joke. Pharmacy Director would not even bitch, as he had some idea it ment more than He knew and did not wish to challenge.
Don't feel old | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/30/10
Hey 'I Feel Old'. What makes this great is that it transcends generations, genres. Yeah, I know where you're at but hey, I think its cool that the little uns get their groove from a hip track like this.

I feel old | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/23/10
but im really not. its just when someone that was nine when this came out comments on how much they love it, i feel that way. i was exactly twice that age.
BUT I've ALWAYS loved this song. Excellent lyrics, catchy tune, and fairly insightful to the mid/late 90s mindset I grew up in.
I miss the time when a band like this could get air time. You think these same guys, in this same band would have ever made this song popular in 2009-11?
No.
Sucks.

This song is seriously, one of my FAVORITES, of all time. Harvey Danger is so talented, and I personally use this song to get me through rough days. When I wake up for school, its the first thing that blasts through my stereo. I use Harvey Danger's music while I work out and it works great!
Awesome | Reviewer: Lauren!!! | 6/21/09
I love this song! However, the CD on which the song is on, "Where have all the merrymakers gone?", is veeeeeerrrry rare. And you can't get the Harvey Danger version on iTunes or anything. I love it though. If anyone has any idea where I might be able to get this CD please let me know. Cause I love it :)
good times, awesome song | Reviewer: Robert | 8/12/08
I first heard this song at summer camp when I was nine years old. Harvey Danger reminds me of a time when life was much more simple and carefree. I thank these guys for helping me hold on to my inner youth.
