He could tell these amazing stories through his songs, and he made you part of it. You felt the emotions in the song. You felt the emotions he felt as he sang it. Not only that, his songs MEANT something. What do we have these days? Regurgitated tripe that has no meaning. None of these mondern day artists can hold a candle to Harry. Harry was taken from us too early. With the terrorism, school shootings, and political corruption we have to face today, we need someone who can make sense of it all. We need Harry. R.I.P Harry. Is this review helpful to you?     Yes      No Taxi | Reviewer: Korie | 4/20/2007 The song Taxi, as I first heard of it as a young child, didn't mean much to me except some words and some good rhymes. My mother always played it. As I fell in love as an adult and we broke up the song hit home. When I found out there was a sequel, it was very odd since my x came to my house to talk and we still both went our seperate ways.. and ironically, our lives switched roles. Taxi is no doubt the best song I have ever heard. I will always cherish this song. He was a true artist. He also made a song called Corey's Coming and I will always remember him cause I am a girl and there is no other song I know with a girl named Korie in a song.. God Bless His Soul and family!!! Is this review helpful to you?     Yes      No Teaching lesson | Reviewer: Barbara Brisco | 3/1/2007 I teach ESE English I, 9th grade, and am using Harry Chapin's "Cat's in the Cradle" as a poetry lesson as well as a life lesson. Student's are able to learn a great deal from his humanism . I only wish I could find a printing of the words so that the student's could benefit from reading them.
