In my opinion "I think that I can shake you" is used like the person is talking to an opponent or a bully or something. If you think of it in that way it makes more sense. Think about a softball pitcher saying "Don't close your eyes, cause it's a chance worth taking, and I think that I can shake you" "I know what you like, I know what you think, I'm not afraid to stare you down until you blink..." I put this on my daughter's web page. She's a softball pitcher and it kind of fits if you think about it. It might not be what the song is really about, but it fits my daughters situation with pitching. Hope this might help.
