"I'm So Lonesome I Could Cry" epitomizes Country Music. It is so evoking. It almost makes one cry just to listen to it. It has to be the yardstick against which all country tunes should be measured, and I'm not talking the crap which today they call "Country Music". Today's "Country Music" is nothing more than pop music with a twang. I'd like to go back to the days of Hank Sr., Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, Johnny Paycheck, Johnny Cash, et al. THOSE were true Country Musicians!!!
If you don't like my opinion, that's okay, because music is a matter of taste. At least I CAN play it and write it...not just listen to it. I'll consider comments from TRUE musicians ONLY!!!
Later,
Griff
