In Reckless Road, they talk about the meanings of this song, though it's not very hard to grasp. But honestly, GNR was one of the best bands, ever. The song is so different than the others on the appetite album but it fits so well still. I'm disgusted that the band broke up, I know they could've gone on to become the greatest in history, even though they still rank up there with the best, These guy are musical geniuses and this song reflects that, the tonality changes in the song are so very unique and if you really know music you will go through a gamut of feelings with this song. The album itself is the best Rock album ever in my opinion.
