GUNS AND ROSES BITCHEESZZ!!! axl is a fucking legend | Reviewer: desperate sex | 12/21/08 i really love Guns they are one of the best bands iv listened to but i definitely prefer their older stuff from the 80s... for me, i think that Sweet Child is the best song ever created and that not far behind it is Paradise City and Welcome to the Jungle... it would be really great but very impossible for the old lineup to reunite, cuz Slash and Axl don get along and Steve's all messed up... they were a really intense line up with Axl the greatest performer the world has seen and Slash and Izzy crazy guitarists, and Duff and Steve were good too i guess although Velvet Revolver is absolute bull shit... This biography is not correct | Reviewer: Evilstalkerhorne | 12/7/08 First of all, when Nerdvana was biggest was late 1989 ish. Also, GNR was extremely big all through the 1990's. They played all the time on MTV when the shitty channel hardly played ANY videos they were on alot!!!! GNR has and always will be cool individually as well as a compilation. Also, AXL wrote most of the material. Izzy did co-write as did the rest but AXL got his name because he was and always has been the driving force of Gun's and Roses. This is why he is the one with the trademark, the new band, the better album and the most common sense out of any of them even though he gets called nuts all the time. This bio does not mention Chinese Democracy even though they have lyrics for its songs. This site overall is pretty accurate but this nutshell bio is not only distasteful but incorrect. Get your facts somewhere else. Also, the words are wrong at the end of the title track. Maybe it is because the authors of the bio wrote it an have their heads too far up there asses to hear the crystal clear, priceless mix that Axl and the guys worked so long and hard on. AHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! | Reviewer: Yesenia | 9/7/08 G N R is the best every day i listen to their songs i absolutly love them yes im young to be a G N R fan but who cares they are awsome Sweet Child O' Mine is my favorite song ever if there was only one song i could listen to for the rest of my life it would be that one!!!!!!!! guns n roses are FUCKING AMAZING!!!! | Reviewer: ben | 8/8/08 guns n roses is just an absolutely amazing band. i'm hearing chinese democracy is FINALLY finished and that it could actually end up being really good. i dont care really chinese democracy is pretty much just an axl solo album. personally i hope it flops because i want a gnr reunion and that wouldnt happen if axl ended up being successful without the rest of the guys. but about the actual music man these guys really had something everytime i listen to appetite for destruction i am absolutely blown away. these guys were just so different when they broke big they just had this great mix- popmetal hooks,crazy complex alternating guitar work, slash playing fast speed metal solos, and really just alot of the raw power that rock had lost after zeppelin and aerosmith. it's a formula no one can duplicate. of course axl knew there were going to be alot of crappy imitators so i gotta give him some credit for steering them in a different direction. and the two illusion albums have more than a few worthwile tracks. while axl is a bit of an ass he is a really great vocalist i love that he can sing really high but still have this raunchiness in his voice. and like i said i really want the original lineup back together axl slash duff izzy and steven if he gets his shit together. time heals all wounds after all. anyway i think it's safe to say that gnr are one of the best bands ever. From my point of view, GNR don't exist at this point in time, not without key players like Slash, Sorum, Stradlin and Duff teamed up with Axl. Stop acting like bitches and bring back the real GNR!! We need real rock, and Velvet Revolver's Contraband gave me some high hopes, but they screwed it up with Libertad. The undeniable fact is that no band could ever replicate or better the masterpieces created by GNR. I wish that guys like Slash and Axl would read these reviews, so they can see the craving for some more of their magic. The kind if magic they can't create without each other.
