------ performed by Guns N' Roses

agreed | Reviewer: Peter | 10/6/2008
i totally agree with you (the poster og "huh?" Slash is pretty much in my opinion the greatest rock n' roll icon ever he was once the best guitarist alive but he's grown older he ain't what he was but he's still the guitar god Slash

    rockon! | Reviewer: Emily | 4/23/2008

wow wow wow wow..is all i have, slash..your solo at the end just totally BLEW ME AWAY!seriously.almost brought me to tears with the video and all of the emotional-ness..and rose, your voice is equally great in this..

    Huh? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 3/21/2008

Well, I've gotta agree with James. Seriously, not GNR's best, but I understand why so many people go nuts over it.
And to the people that think Slash is nothing without Axl, get a fucking clue! Not only is Slash now involved with Velvet Revolver, published a book, and had a hand in guitar Hero III, but he's fucking Slash! In my opionion he is one of the most respectable rock n' roll figures on the scene today, being a very intellegent person, cleaned himself up, and still doing what he loves. He's still making money playing music, what's Axl doing?

    Quite good,Saxon wtf? | Reviewer: Cryphonus | 3/18/2008

Great song with great video clip.Lyrics and music are quite deep.Especially the outro is awesome and prolly one of my life-time faves...

    'X-man'- G N R | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/12/2007

This song was, is, and always will be the song that put G N R on charts, that other rock bands have yet to accomplish. When a band could make non- rock fans listen to their music, and love it, says more that enough about that band. As far as the group breaking up, Axl n Slash are to each other as Michael Jordan Scottie Pippen are to each other; without each other Mike n Scottie would have've never gotten the championship rings they got.
Guns N Roses is not the same w/o Slash, Neither is Slash w/o 'THE ROSE'. It goes both ways baby...Toghether no Band stands a chance against them. Separate, its just not as Sweet....
Though Axl at least has the songs which people still love n listen to. Slash, on the contrary- is no where to be found, as far as non-rock fans are concerned. He's just playing for another desent rock group, out of so many other good ones that are out there. To me he's the Best, but with 'THE ROSE'... he's just untouchable.

Now hold on, here | Reviewer: James Maxwell | 12/11/2007

I have never, ever commented here before, and probably never will again, but the over-sentimental praise for this song has caused me to take action.

"November Rain" might be Axl Rose's crowning acheivement (sic?) in songwriting, and holds all sorts of records, but when you compare it to the group's other singles, like "Paradise City", or heck, even their cover of "Sympathy For The Devil", this song is just not as good. Everything about the song's impressive, I'll give you that, but it's so... saccharine-sugarcoated. When I listen to GNR, want to hear some raunchy, racous 80's hard rock, not some melodrama and celebration of excess.

I wouldn't be surprised if the reason that Izzy Stradlin left and Slash started Velvet Revolver had to do with this song. Where's the driving riffs? The feel-my-my-my-serpentine lyrics? Axl thought that he was GNR, that the other members were irrelevant, and look at GNR now: Axl's all that's left, just a parody of its former self. Oh, sure, there's this thing called "Chinese Democracy" somewhere, but did you know it will have Shaq rapping on it?

Anyway, the song might be an impressive piece of music, with the longest Top 10 guitar solo and everything, but this is simply not GNR at their finest. For a GNR song of similar length that's "n" times better, listen to "Civil War".

    Yours Sincerely,
    James Maxwell

P.S. You'll have it played at your funeral or wedding or whatever? Sheesh, people used to be content with "My Way". I will say, though, that I'd rather hear "November Rain" at a funeral than "How To Save A Life" by The Fray.

I love you Baby, Thank you so much!! | Reviewer: Rock n Roll Junkie's Bitch | 10/13/2007

My sweet Love, showed his love for me thru this song!! Anyone who can't "get it?" is not one for music or depth. GNR is the best!! This song will be played at our Wedding and everyone will be singing woohoo

crying to sleep | Reviewer: Neurion | 8/24/2007

im not emo or anything but iv cried myself to sleep many a night with this song - like "someone" said - its so full of emotion a fantastic song - although i dont think any song ever written could test Slash's guitar capabilities to the full but he puts his soul into every riff he plays - absolutelly awe enspiring as a guitarist myself - hes not one of my idols - he is THE idol for me and always will be - him and Zal Cleminson from Alex Harvey always will kill all competition
    end of
    no Q's asked

    vambo still rules \m/

best from GNR | Reviewer: insan | 7/12/2007

i absolutely agree with William "Heavy Fuel" Vogt II this song together with Sweet Child O'Mine are the best of GNR. love the lyric and tempo so much. usually i'm not into rock, but when come to this, GNR is one of the best!! Slash is undoubtedly one of the greatest guitarist ever.

    Amazing | Reviewer: me | 6/27/2007

This song is one of the best in the world. Slash & Axl Rose OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
