Never related to Baba O'Reily and My Generation. Didn't listen to Green day until 2004 and never heard Jesus of Suburbia until I went through a life change in 2007. Thank God for Green day! I'm an old school rocker and notice that we all pull something different from this great song...you can call this an adolescent anthem I chose to listen and reflect on choices. This is a classic. I'm a classical musician, so I really appreciate how well the whole thing hangs together--it's really like a whole symphony. They have such wonderful transitions in their 'rock operas'.
