Green Day have always been steady medium in ever changing music world ... but yet again they have evolved .. and once again are so influential .. but wht does suprose me is the length o time it has taken 4 them to be noticed in the mainstream ... Surely a band o such consistant brilliance should o been noticed years ago .. for ppl tht have .. we have enjoyed album after album of hits ..

Holiday will probably not reach such success as many tracks of *Dookie* but it is a fine example of what they can produce .... Influential ... Though Provoking ... Politically Argumentitive ... And fantasticly sounding ..

This song, I gotta say, has been more political than "American Idiot". It's great. About this whole middle finger to Bush thing, it is the right time period to do it and they didn't have the voices to do it back then. I am very anti-Bush and I am growing up in a pro-Bush state. It sucks! This has got to be my favorite quotes, "People who are considered liberal are saying 'We're going to move to France because Bush is bad. When the wrong guy wins, there are a lot of people who want to give up. The liberals need to be at home." -Billie Joe Armstrong

I am a Green Day fan and I was slightly disappointed by Shenanigans. However, the trio has hit the nail on the head with American. THE best Green Day album besides, maybe, warning. The music on this album is excellent an it is a well-timed middle finger to the whole Bush administration. Both of those things are evident in Holiday, which, I think is the best song on the album. TRIAL BY FIRES, SETTING FIRES! JUST CAUSE? JUST 'CAUSE, BECAUSE WE'RE OUTLAWS, YEAH!

Musically Green Day has out done themselves on this one.... for those of us with family or friends destroyed by 911 and fucking Bush..this song holds alot of emotion for us all!! thanks Green Day

hey all u punky people. I luv green day and their latest album is awesome. All the songs rck but holiday has 2 b the best. I put it on song repeat 10 times. it is truly awesome. and to ne1 out there that hasn't heard of greenday ... get a life!!!

This is probably my favorite song on the record. American Idiot is an awesome song...actually the whole record is amazing, but of all the songs I can't stop listening to Holiday. Ummmm, do I have to keep typing??? I've already run out of things to say. After listening to the song a lot I was thinking I'd have a bunch to say about it and what did you guys get out of me? 2 sentances, that's what you got. Well anyway, This song rules!
