these lyric must have been wrighten by a deaf person. im a fanatic of green day and im memorised St. jimmy,holiday, boulevard of broken dreams, american idiot,basket case and homecoming and these lyrics are wrong.

this song is da bomb! i mostly listen to rap, but i'm a huge green day fan. This is probably one of the best songs by them, and the best music viedos. i love this song that everyone i know thinks it's awesome too!

In response to the person who wrote that 90 percent of all posts are stupid: It's fine if you want to express your opinion here, but at least be brave enough to post your email adress so that others can discuss with you. What you say here is your opinion and you are entitled to it, but at least have the courage to look people in the eye, so to speak, when you call them names.
Also in agreement with the Italien fan of Bad Religion: French is my first language, and typing English is often difficult for me, so I understand how it is to write in a second language...so I often misspell as well.

Green Day rocks! They are the best band ever! I love alot of Green Day songs, but Holiday is by far one of their top 5! Holiday has a great beat and it is very catchy. Im so excited to go to the Green Day concert on September 3, and you can bet I will be the person singing Holiday the loudest out of the whole audience when they play it! I've said it so many times and Im gonna say it again...GREEN DAY ROCKS!!!

I'm happy with this new Green Day album, well especially about this song, along with American Idiot. The most deep message you can get from MTV music usually is "wear this, don't wear that", and I'm glad that Green Day completely differs from the others, in this. This song is not simply a "fuck Bush" song. I can feel some real disappointment in the lyrics, a real desire to make people think about what's going on in the world, to make them open their eyes and see the reality.
Yeah, they'll be billionaire pop-punkers, but I just know that these good messages are more and more rare, with the time passing. If you want to be blind and don't understand a shit about what's going on, go back to listen to Britney Spears and Madonna, but if you don't like to blindly follow the goverment, then this song is a good start. Good job, Green Day.

I'm pretty old for a Green Day fan (47), but I remember the old protest songs from the 60's because I was there. Music, politics and war were very closely related. Green Day and Eminem are bringing back the most basic American right. That right is to protest the war and the government. I may not agree with what you're saying, but I'll defend your right to say it. As long as the music is not compromised by the message, bring it on Green Day. I'm bringing my 14 year old daughter to the concert in St. Louis. It will be the second time I've seen them and I can't wait. This song is my favorite of all the songs on a great album. The "Zeig Heil" piece is my ring tone. And to those who think I'm trying to deny my age or re-live my youth, there's plenty of the new music I don't like. In other words, I don't play the music to be young, I play the music because I like it.
