You can't limit Green Day with words, but I'll try. Green Day is trying to give us an understanding about what the heck the government got us into, and that it is basically forcing us to follow. Yeah, we have the freedom of speech, so why not use it? What better way than through music? I think their message is an absolutly fantastic one, and they put it in music so they can capture the teenage point of view, and not keeping them in the dark! Bush is a terrible President, and I am not ashamed to say it! To tell the truth, I was litterally scared when Bush was elected. Our stupid President is out there, fighting in Iraqu,when they are trying to make the peace with us! But no, Bush just has to have his f**king way! The mexicans, not that I have anything against mexicans, are trying to get into America, and the government isn't giving much effort to stop them! If we don't get this baby nipped in the bud, we just might have another civil war!!! Gease, what have we gotten ourselfs into? Green Day is trying to tell us that we need to think for ourselfs!
