I was actually trained in the left hand suzuki method of violin schooling, so I remember they used to have little notes like this in the books, first in Japanese and then in English, German, French, other languages... The song is called 'Long, Long Ago' - it's an early easy song they teach to beginners, and the second version of it is a slightly more advanced variation on it. Needless to say, when I first heard this song years after I stopped learning Suzuki violin, I was surprised and delighted. ;) Simply Brillant | Reviewer: Gorillaz Fan | 7/5/2007 Few words , great musice and a whole lot of meaning! Lost yet? No? Good. Yes? Even better. This song starts out with our good ole Noodle laying down some flat lyrics. Pretty cool, huh? It's like a flat Soda. I personally don't like soda... so it's not the perfect metaphore... but if and when I do drink a soda it has to be flat. So if you like flat soda, which has absolutely NO relevance to this, you're weird. But if your weird, which IS rellevant to this which makes flat soda infact relevant, then you will be pretty cool with this. I like it. New style, cool twists. Pretty wicked if you ask me.
