But I wonder if they are high when they write their lyrics probably not which is sad that we have to get lifted to understand them. Oh well. However, there lyrics always make me think about the end of the world (tribulation times) that we might soon face. (Like I have to stop smoking weed and all. Lot's of repenting to do...) But also aware. And ready. To face those times if I must. And yes there is a lot of LOVE found in the lyrics (in my opinion) at least for me. So it's like a revial without going to church. I am the old school southern BAPTIST of the bunch. (forgive the weed smoking that is something i must take up with HIM) So much that the Gorillaz write is so true. But don't forget. Many of their true messages could be hidden for a reason. Lots of political lashing out they do. Thus there name. Remember Gorilla warfare in Vietnam? Hidden messages in lyrics would be perfect for a group with a name like theirs.
