------ performed by Gorillaz

THE FIST GUY is right!!! | Reviewer: GHAHA | 6/12/09

The guy who said the first comment was right... Its the aftermath from the erruption of the mountain monkey... Its clearly so if you have even listened to the album... Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head is the song its reffering to... please people, don't dig so deep...

You got it all wrong. | Reviewer: Joel Morgan | 12/18/08

You guys got it all wrong. You gotta listen to the song in the context of the album "Demon Days," a post doomsday world is presented to us, and we're taken through it with all the preceding songs, being second last its like a wrap up. The song right before it is about a mountain town that has escaped the chaos of the below world, but eventually is invaded and destroyed. This next song is like a euphoric view of the aftermath.

To me anyways.

You're all wrong | Reviewer: Murdoc | 1/11/08

It's nothing to do with heaven- Damon doesn't believe in heaven he's said that before. Crack on the corner and someone dead- just the remains of last night. Fire coming out of a monkey's head- just some junkie on the corner smoking...

Over Analysed? | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/22/07

I can't help but feel that this is simply a song... nothing more and nothing less. A good song... but a song all the same.

trippy | Reviewer: ANukaran | 8/24/07

Well.. I really dig this band.. and I really didn't try to go in for an interpretation of the lyrics... but the first time i heard it I was already down about 7 joints.. and just imagined the meaning to twhat the woards said... and it was fuckin' trippy;)

Know Your Way (translated line by line) | Reviewer: Black | 8/9/07

The song is about a soul from heaven venturing into a land that they shouldn't be in. The noticed the effects of the outside world with crack on the corner and someone dead. He tries to go back to a place he's familar with (suburbia), but it was worse there and he felt left behind. Trying to say you don't understand how he feels.

Brilliant | Reviewer: Avery | 4/11/07

exposition of how Americans who are religious get caught up in their morality and movement to heaven, leaving thy neighbor behind. Crack on the corner and someone dead seems to say the epidemics of heartlessness are spreading. The brilliance fades as he moves into a modern cliche of bashing the sheisty female.

Outstanding, amazing, fantastic - Gorillaz! | Reviewer: Bryan | 12/28/06

Something quirky, weird, intertaining, different, and mindblowing.
Maybe this fancies you?
Then you need the Gorillaz! They are simply original and out right bizzare!! You never know what they are going to come up with and thats why they are such a treat! They tackle pretty much every genre of music and then some, combinding them and coming deadly close to a musical atomic blow up but turn it into a complete miracle of musicians!
The four lovable icons - though fictional - come to life through the minds and works of brilliant performers that make this band. They come up to the world, hit it in the face, and in a sense say 'Not real, but aren't I?'
