There is nothing "punk" about them. They are part of the sad, depressed, MTV influenced music genre known as pop-rock. I am tired of the TRL addicts arguing Good Charlotte as being punk. If you need to hear some punk bands for comparison, I recommend Sex Pistols (overrated), Black Flag, or Minor Threat. Other bands that fall into this MTV generated genre include but are not limited to: Green Day, Blink 182, Hawthorne Heights, and New Found Glory. I mean "wtf". I personally am a huge Good Charlotte fan, I bought the debut album and became addicted from then...But half of you are saying 'Oh my god! I heard lifestyles and then saw joel and it was like woah and now im their biggest fan so if you think you are you're wrong!!!!' Well technically I doubt you are their biggest fan, and I'm not saying I am either I'm just saying you should be pleased that with so many fans GC are getting plenty of airtime and video play when other bands such as 'Mest' are not in the limelight how ever much they may deserve it too.
