George was the ultimate, but this is such a haunting version--it'll make you appreciate the song all over again. a great track on 'all things must pass': hear me Lord | Reviewer: pete norris smith | 11/25/07 I've been listening to Harrison's "All Things Must Pass" double album since 1971 when it was cool to carry a copy of the 12" vinyl across the school yard at Sydney Boy's High on the way home. It was and still is a watershed.... his spiritual masterpiece. It wasn't until recently that I realized what a fantastic song "Hear Me Lord" is on the second disc. I always thought the first disc was brilliant and paid little attention to the second one. If you are like me, please give the second disc another chance, in particular, this song.
