Genesis has been by my side since ... I was a teenager. All their songs are part of me. Even if I didn't understand the lyrics when I was 15 (I am French), I always loved the harmony, the emotions, the solos, the voices... I did all my studies up to my PhD in Physics with Genesis songs floating in my room. Even now, I am a researcher and I cannot write a good scientific paper without Phil Collins, Peter Gabriel, Steve Hackett, Mike Rutherford, Tony Banks ... Thanks to Genesis !!!

Just one more thing: some people like to savour a whisky or a cigar, but for me, when I was 20, I used to listen one of my Genesis LP (instead of the audio cassettes I made to avoid wearing out my original vinyl LPs)

Since my baby brother of 43 died, a week ago, every morning I awake to a very meaninful song in my head or on the alarm radio. This morning it was this beautiful song. It fits how he would truly feel about us.

Great song I remember from my youth. I had fun with fast cars even though my mother was an alcoholic. I had fun with my 79 Ford pickup. I had lots of fun hunting with my parents friends and neighbors in Oregon and I had fun in high school. Golf was fun.
