He explains that, that can’t compare to actually having someone there. He doesn’t let anyone put him down because of who he is with, and she doesn’t let anyone put him down either - she is there to defend him. Gavin’s tell you to take the pain of hearing the negative things, and shaking them off. He is in love with a girl that loved them better than any other woman. He fell for her immediately. He probably went through some though relationships, and was bitter, but took his time to find someone right. She understands, and treats him right. I think he has went through a lot of relationship and was happy for awhile, but then the moment quickly gets lost. This person tells how they feel, and probably complain about his flaws – they are tactless. So the relationship ends.
