A man being with a woman and not really wanting her love, just a fun time. He said what she wanted to hear. Making her fall in love - not the best thing to do. She thought he really meant it, but it wasn’t true. I think when the night was over, she hears him making plans that don’t include her. she i shocked and realizes how vuleranle she is to him now. He sees this and feels bad. she is begging for him to stay with her. she wants him in her life. he doesn’t know how to tell her he doesn’t want to be with her. so she still thinks they have something special. he leaves for a while and starts to flashback on what has went on. he thinks about all the things he loaded her mind with. things that weren’t lies, but weren’t true. he just wanted to make her feel good, and wanted to have her next to him for awhile. he was not prepared at all for what was happening. and he wasnt thinking when he started all of it. and realizes it never shoulda happened in the first place.he never thought that this woman could love him…so he didn’t expect any of it.he left and never came back. The woman starts to think about the situation too, after awhile…she realizes he is not comming back. she thinks about how he agreed to everything she wanted. Now he is gone and she doesnt know if he will come back. he thinks that everything happens for a reason and thinks their paths crossed for a reason. she tells herself not to think about him anymore. she think about when they kissed and how it took her away.and how she realy felt like he knew her. and treated her with sensitivity. She realizes it hurts but is what she deserves… because she should have been more careful with her past lovers. she should have treated them how she wanted to be treated in her current situation. she realized that he will get hurt like she did too one day. but doesn’t want him to hurt like she is. she knows that he is sensitive too deep down, and understand that it doesn’t sink in until your the one getting hurt. and that everybody gets broken sometime in life. it’s inevitable. This song is relatable to me in alot of ways. that is one thing about gavin’s music. it really can connect to you. so i think you all should really give this song a listen. or listen to one of his other songs.
