This song reminds me of 'Creep' by 'Radiohead'.
I think its about a girl with a major crush on a guy & she's willing to do anything for him or to be with him, but she's not the only person besotted with him & is trying to prove to him that she is unique & is totally devoted to him. Although it appears that he does not feel the same. Maybe by the en of the song she manages to get a piece of him, a kiss or sex but not a proper committed relationship; the thing she ultimately wants from him.
For me it is the best 'Garbage' song because it describes having an unrequited crush or love perfectly.

I think this is a beautiful song, due to its simplicity and feeling. I think it's about being in love with someone after many letdowns. You don't want to show your love for the man but you do want him to know that you will not be the one to disappoint him. You want to be there for him. If only he would see you're not like the others, if only he would show you how he feels about you.
