explanation. | Reviewer: wxyz | 11/24/07
okay, after reading 4 pages of this, I'd like to explain what this song is actually about. It is not about it being okay to be gay, its about a friend of the band's named Michael who got drunk and danced with a guy by accident at a party.
OMG | Reviewer: Adrienne Cocco | 11/17/07
To the person who said this isn't one of their better songs. Wow. Also to whomever said that everyone has some type of prejudice. No. It's just not true. Some people love all with no second thought. Again, The song has a oddly gay tone, but the band is not gay. It's not about gay people. I like how people have to endeavour to pull up a topic to cause controversy even if it's not the case. For the person who actually says what the song is about. Thank you. No one believes me. Drunk people dance. I know.
Shut the f*** up homophobes | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/29/07
Hey. Any one who feels that this song sucks, shutup. But anyone who thinks that gays are freaks then you are not only dumb as sh*t but also complete freaks themselves. I mean godammit I have two cousins that are Bisexual and my pal Spencer(A BOY) is Bi too. I also have a gay cousin. So to what ever homophobe comes before and after this post, please, go die. The gene pool will suffer no great loss with you gone. p.s. this song friggn rocks
Optimo Espacio | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/10/07
Apparently this song was written after a night at Optimo Espacio at sub-club in glasgow. The Optimo dj's are good friends with franz ferdinand and i saw both the franz and optimo at the arches last saturday djing before justice. i think franz ferdinand should stick to being in a band though :-P
what are you really after?! | Reviewer: saeyanide | 9/6/07
Seriously, music appreciation should be about just that. A band's sexuality has absolutely nothing to do with whether or not the music is good. A personal preference is fine as everyone is entitled to having their own, but bashing a band for having fun with a non-mainstream topic or creating music in a form that you dislike shouldn't be done by childishly calling them gay/homosexual.
And to Damien, what's the deal with having to throw in "Scottish?" Including their national origin within your insults only shows just how ignorant and pathetically low a person can get. You must try hard to pull yourself up on your pedestal.

I think, regardless of what it's about, this is a great song. I support gay rights, I'm not gay, I'm catholic, I love this song, make of it whatever you will.
Damien is a Jackass | Reviewer: Michael | 8/3/07
I think you've missed the tongue-in-cheek comedy here Damien...and "Beatles-esque"? Have you ever heard the Beatles?
Sort yourself out you homophobic retard.
And is is worse that they're Scottish "homosexuals"? Is it all the gays that scare you or only the Scottish ones?
Purpose of the Song | Reviewer: TJhookah | 6/26/07
The purpose of the song is describing one of the band's friend got so drunk and ended up dancing with a man.
