Frank Zappa's "BRAIN POLICE"
Frank Zappa, like so many musicians, had the knack for telling the future. He really demonstrated it by producing the hit album, "THE BEATLESS."
Simon and Garfunkel did this when they wrote, "And the words of the prophets are written on the subway walls..." And The Jefferson Airplaine's Gracie Slick, "And the white knight is talking backwards..."
The Song BRAIN POLICE by Zappa, which featured a mock up picture of the Seargent Pepper Lonely Hearts Club Band (Beatles) had a picture of his dad on the inside cover. His dad used to teach me math and he headed up the Checkers Club, back at the parochial school I used to attend in Florida. It wasn't as big as WW II but I was there.
Frank's sister is still playing the songs that Frank wrote, live, in nightclubs.
Now that was a song for this generation, with internet intruders being as they are, these days, destroying a person's right to own the computer that they have paid for and can't use, where people type and type and type only to become legends in their own minds when they find out it's all been erased or something.
People everywhere are more and more confused about the VIRUSES, WORMS AND TROJAN HORSES on the web, but when it comes to music that sounds sure and rings true, most people relate to it and accept it without questioning the source.
NECESSITY COULD BE THE 'MOTHERS OF INVENTION' AND MAYBE SOME HACKERS REALLY NEED TO HAVE THEIR BRAINS POLICED!
