I am a published poet and was named after this song. My "mother" listened to this while pregnant with me and I was named this way. We aren't close so I would like to dedicate this to my friends who took me in while I was in high school and raised me. If it wasn't for them I wouldn't be me. I love you mama Cheynne and Daddy Danny. <3

I fell in love for the first time when this song became popular and it will always bring me back to the best time in my life. I will love her until the day I die, even though it's been many, many years. We used to listen to this song and dream about our own "house". How I wish my Mary Ann Robinson would come back to me so I can tell her that she will always be my forever love that I will never ever forget.

This song was from David of Rutland VT. to me and not Sara..My prince charming died in a car crash when I was 27 and he was 5 years older than me working in Amherst, MA the year this song came out. He was building a house leaving me with the promise of the fire. The beauty in this song transcended my pain and brought the beauty of our time together into my heart to hold on a little longer while I healed.

i did, i named my daughter after this song but her name is spelled sarah. she is now 24 years old. she plays guitar and is the free-est spirit. she has been on stage many times in front of audiances. she is bueatufull. and she is the poet in my heart. i remember watching stevie nicks, fleetwood mac, on HBO in the early 80,s. my husband was so jealous, he accused me of being gay because i was so mesmerized. ive never been gay and i fought with him for days over that concert. i still am mesmerized by this band and the grandest of all women singers, stevie nicks. isnt that something.

When my first son was born he was so hard to settle. I used to put this on and rock him, he was only a couple of months old and it was like magic, he'd stop crying straight away and really listen, it was amazing to watch. And the best thing of all... he'd fall asleep. Even now, so many years later (7), when I play it I watch his reaction, it's there in his subconscious somewhere. He says he loves this song too.

This song is so special to me. "But when you build your house, then, call me,home." I love this line, and I want to build a house for my wife. Well what can I say. This song has memories attach to it from way back to now. Love it all.

This is very true. I dedicate "Sara" because we had some rough times when we first met..and hearing this song pretty much describes the emotions and the sense and sea of love..where everyone loves to drown. I fell right in love with him. This is a great song.

Ok, well, I'm 15. But I love all kinds of music. And this has to be one of my all time favorite songs. And not because my dad named me for the song. It's an amazing song, and everything about this song to me is just... wow. ^-^ I've always loved Stevie's voice, and I love singing this song. I've had it on repeat most of the day. <3

I first heard the song when I arrived in America in 1979. I found it spellbinding. Drownin', in the sea of love Where everyone would love to drown.
I recorded it and played it hundreds of times. 4 times today ! In 1985 I named my daughter Sarah. It is still one of my favourite songs.
