Great song, musically and lyrically. Don't be fooled though, a women possesses the very capability any man does...do be a "player". Its not a gender specific trait, trust me. Matter of fact, not to sound sexist, I'm not at all...but I think women are actually better at it. ~Peace

Oh my word, I just cannot get over the beautiful voice and the emotion that is captured in this song. The lyrics are beautiful and so very true, but the voice tells the sad tale in a way that not many vocalists can nowadays. I want to know who she is, or do I?

Stevie Nicks wrote this song at the end of her relationship with Lynsey Bu kinvham. He made it clear that he needed space. The band was getting huge following and He be was see no end of groupie attention. Hence women they will come and go. It was her way of warning him and those that flocked to him that without real love. It will all lead to a deep loneliness that they will go mad. I also believe Lynsey reply was the song "GO INSANE"

I'm so glad to be able to learn from past experiences... for me too move forward and take the mistakes from the past to ensure that my next relationship will be the best it can. It hits home, and it hurts. But i believe there's someone out there that will benifit from the pain of the past to make a beautiful, loving and supportive romance to last a lifetime.

Last summer i was standing in the rain waiting for my boyfriend to pick me up and he came up with his car, rolled down his window and said he didn't love me anymore then asked if i wanted a ride i walked away walked all the way home but somewhere in the middle just sat on the sidewalk and cried and when i got up to keep walking my heart fell and broke into a million pieces and i still cant put it back together but somewhere i feel that his love and him are with my heart along that sidewalk waiting for me to find them and be able to love again... without him :(

When I hear this song, it burns deep in my heart and I yearn, long for and miss what I had. I asked him to leave. My mind knows this was the right choice, but my heart misses him so much. Stevie nailed the emotion on the head...this is how you feel when you lose someone you love.

These lyrics are timeless and poignant for the man who chooses to walk away from the woman who has loved him and given him her life. Most do regret this choice but the ego drives them to their own destruction.
