Great Song | Reviewer: nameless | 10/13/07

When I heard this song it made me realize all the little things I take for granted in life and how fast life is going by. It really touched me and from now on I'm for sure not going to waste time with stupid things. I'm going to make every second count.

Will take my time | Reviewer: 15 years | 10/7/07

Promise of 100 years | Reviewer: Anonymous | 10/3/07

This song reminds me of my grandfather, who promised us all that he would live to be a 100. He passed away 8 months after my grandmother did. He couldn't live to a 100 without her. My mother was telling me about this song, not knowing I already knew it and she also said that this reminds her of her father. It's okay that Grandpa didn't live to be 100 but lived to be 87...life wasn't worth 13 years without his beloved wife of 63 years. I smile when I hear this song and am going to buy the single if I can find it online. I want to make a dvd for my family with pictures of my grandparents then my mother and her siblings along with the 6 grandchildren and the 7 great grandchildren. I wonder if I'll be 100 when it's done?

One of the best of the last 100 years | Reviewer: kelly | 8/27/07

This is a fabulous song, superbly arranged and performed. A story of life and hope and wonder that will live for a hundred years. I salute you, Five for Fighting.

Thinking about my kids | Reviewer: Bobby | 8/24/07

Every time I hear this song I get goosebumps. It makes me realize every time I look at my kids how fast they are growing up and how precious little time I have to spend with them before they are adults. Making me think twice about saying "not today" when they ask if I can play with them. Seems like yesterday I was fifteen, I can rememeber it clear as day, here it is 22 years later and wonder where did the time go? Very touching song, makes you think about life.

Finding the Joy in Passing Life | Reviewer: paul | 8/1/07

I think the song's about finding that child inside of you, the part still knows how to play, and being fine with that part, no matter what age you are. Because even in a rapidly passing life, there's always time to stop and enjoy yourself, time to cherish life. Because every day's a new day.

Great long. Love that it takes time to say something with its lyrics. So many songs are just content to be background music. This is a beautiful message.

Five For Fighting 100 Years | Reviewer: Anonymous | 7/31/07

I've been playing this song on piano since the day I learned the whole thing. I didn't have any music for it, however, and my lesson teacher taught it to me by memory. I'm relearning it the correct way and the little differences mean a lot. The music changes the lyrics in an expressive way and relearning this song the correct way makes me smile every time I hear the song, knowing that I won't live my life without good times and lots of memories to go with them. This song is unlike any other by them, and I thank them for the inspiring tune.
