The more I hear to it, the more I think it's gay, but it's still a nice song. Can anybody here explain the video to me? Is that as simple as it looks or is there something to it I don't get? Here's what I see: Boy with antlers gets teased and ostracized, falls in love with a pretty girl, meets with opposition from her homocidal father until in a bizarre accident (well, not that bizarre.. I suppose if you're going to just stand in the middle of the road like that you're going to get what's coming to you) it's revealed that he has a similar problem. Hence 'Just a notch in your bed post', which is a phrase that's used for how many people you've slept with. Anyway continuing on, the guy basically becomes an obsessive maniac and stalks the girl, watching her sleep with a lot of other guys, wishing that those guys were him. The "Loaded God Complex, Cock it and pull it" refers to his want to control the relationship, and also about how if he can't have her no one will. So a power to create AND destroy, as a god has. Murder-suicide. That's my two cents. I still love the line "I'm just a notch in your bedpost, but you're just a line in a song.".
