What I can say is that I have a lot of respect for the lyrics and how Patricks voice enhances the meaning. He has a beautiful voice, and the lyrics are intelligent and emotional. Now, I'm not some head-over-heels fangirl, they're not my favorite band, but I do really enjoy their songs. They lyrics resonate in me, and I think that that is a quality of a serious lyrisist. When you think of it that way, does it really matter even if they are only in it for the money? they're my heroes. | Reviewer: tayler | 12/31/07 i love fall out boy. like i can't go a day without listening to everyone of their songs. i look at pictures of them whenever i get the chance. when i saw them at madison square garden, i almost cried when they came out. they're so amazing. and when i met them in 2005, when they did TRL's back to school week and did this whole thing with P.R.Y.D.E., i was there when they filmed it. omg. i was so excited and i only like new a few songs by them. now i don't even know what i would do if i got to meet them. it was one of the best days of my life. and for christmas, i got a DVD about them, AH i was so excited! AND i have to posters of them on my ceiling. anyways, fall out boy's music is so amazing, and their lyrics are so meaningful. if you don't listen to that, then you're clearly not a true fan. and the person from 11/23, you're right, don't say you love fall out boy cause you think pete wentz it hot. no, you like pete wentz. i love fall out boy<3 pete | Reviewer: Anonymous | 12/28/07 to the guy from 11/12/07 say what you want about fall out boy but never say you can write a better song than pete wentz. pete is the most creative and witty lyricist ever. he may not be the best but he is the most unique and hes one of the best. no one writes like he can.
