I love this song! It's beautifully written, both instrumentally and lyrically. Great composition. It has like four different sounds in it throughout the course of the song. I love it, great job FOB!

I have loved this song since I first heard the acoustic version agess ago but i went to their concert in febuary and they played it.. it was amazing Pete Wentz was like right in front of me and he did he screaming thing but like barely anyone knew the song Lol

Eh. | Reviewer: Robert Schroeder | 7/15/09

It's not their best I have to say. I'm not a fan of the singing behind this song. If they keep up music like this they will become another Green Day to me. Just another band that started off good and followed a trend to failure in my eyes.

I love this song and is probably one of my favourites. Although, Lily, you mentioned about the lyrics, as far as I know with Fall Out Boy, Pete writes all the lyrics and Patrick writes the melody.

Doesn't change how great the song, or band is though

Genius | Reviewer: Anonymous | 5/2/09

This song is just plain awesome and genius. It has many secret messages that took me to a while to comprehend. I am a HUGE Fall Out Boy fan and this has to be one of my favorites!

Drink down your gin and kerosene
And come spit on bridges with me
Just to keep us warm
Light a match to leave me be
Light a match to leave me be

Are you people dense? Not only does this make sense, but it is absolute genius. Gin, with its high alcohol concentration, and kerosene are both flammable liquids. By spitting it out and lighting a match, they are "burning the bridge," both literally and in a metaphorical sense, thus ending their relationship. Brilliant songwriting.

To "Loora" and others who ask... | Reviewer: unknown | 4/2/08

I feel the need to explain:

Drink down your gin and kerosene
And come spit on bridges with me
Just to keep us warm
Light a match to leave me be
Light a match to leave me be

I think he means "drink kerosene, spit on a bridge and set it on fire... with you on it." That'll make them warmer AND she'd leave him be then.

answer to Loora's question | Reviewer: Lukey Boy | 3/3/08

im guessing that if you drink gin and kerosene it will likely keep you warm,
and spitting off the bridges brings the warmth to your mouth and then you spit it out lol =P

this song is awesome
lovin it,
catch.

What?? | Reviewer: Loora | 2/20/08

I Love Fob But This But Makes No Sense To Me

Drink down your gin and kerosene
And come spit on bridges with me
Just to keep us warm
Light a match to leave me be
Light a match to leave me be

Can Anyone Explain How Spitting On Or Off Bridges Would Kepe Then Warm :) But Still Love This Song And Fob Rock
