The lyrics are too mellow and deep to be grunted out and almost completely drowned out by heavy guitar and bass. I think the lyrics got much better treatment by Evanescence than by Soul Embraced. In the original version by SE you could hardly understand the lyrics, and these lyrics certainly deserve to be heard. This song is amaizing, and to me it tells a story of how a woman is in a deep depression, and belives she is all alone in this cold world, and so she looks to God. But then she wonders to herself if she has done too many things wrong in her life for God to consider saving her.
