Evanescence is by far the greatest band of all time. With Amy Lee's beautiful voice, caprivating lyrics, and hardcore music, this band is sure to captivate you and bring light to your eyes. Okay no one likes to hear about sadness, but Evanescence does it in a way that you don't even know it's supposed to be sad. If I could meet this band i definetly would! They are just that wonderful

I absolutely love Evanescence. Amy Lee's voice is so powerful, it's something I aspire to sing like. She conveys so much emotion through her voice; it's beautiful. I don't think I've ever obsessed over a band as much as I have Evanescence. They have a great sound and their songs aren't always about dark stuff. She sings about her life which is amazing.

I love this band. If I could ever meet anyone famous, I would choose Amy Lee. Hands down.

evanesence's music is revulationary any band can make a catchy tune but there is no other band that can make every song on every albulm make the listener go "thats my favourite, no that's my favourite" there amazing.

nobody wants to be depressed but there music brings you to reality and takes you to a plaice where you want to stay were you genuinely care and love everything its like better than any drug you can buy, there music is so insperational and revolutionary that when you listen to it you really go to a place not ment for human emotion because once you have to turn the cd off you a heart broken that your back in the harsh un loveing realities of the world that is human nature but there songs make things intimate and even if a bomb was going off in your face listening to my immortal or breathe no more or my last breathe' you really couldn't care because as far as im concerned im in heaven. No matter what anyone says if they think this music is depressing and makes the teenagers off todays perception and views bad then they should take a look and realise that its people like these who are not understanding and have no compassion and live day to day that make us not want to aspire anything more than to listen to simplicate and amazingly breathtakeing music such as evanesence thats it im done and said my peace i hope you agree if not your a fool.

Wow!!!!! what else can be said about this band when u listen to them, Truly fantastic artists - Amy in particalur, whoa what a voice-. Been a fan of theirs since i first heard them at a wrestling ppv, got absolutely every song of theirs each one as good as the next altho my faves would include lies, tourniquet and forever gone forever you.
They paved the way for other bands for me to listen to aswell such as within temptation, nightwish and lacuna coil, anyone who hasn't heard of these bands i strongly recommend them, but anyways yea evanescence rule and can't wait for the open door Oct 3rd

Evanescence is by far my absolute favorite band. I love every song I've heard (which is almost all; I'm missing a few since I download most of my Evanescence from LimeWire cuz alot of albums ar aren't sold in stores and some songs, like "Field of Innocence" don't have files online yet. But I swear to the Goddess, I will get them). Amy Lee's voice amazes my each time I listen to a song. Plus her style rocks. I copy it alot cuz I aspire to be just like her.

I have 3 things to say:

1: The radio needs to play more Evanescence. I have only heard "Bring Me to Life" and "My Immortal" and only on two stations. Don't get me wrong, I love those songs, but I'd also love to hear some of my faves like "Lies" and "Anywhere".

2: I read *sweetsista*'s comment and I was shocked. Amy Lee CAN sing if her life depended on it. Britney Spears is the one who can't sing. And her clothes are the bad clothes. Too revealing, and now she may lose her career cuz she's having another baby (*does happy dance*). And *sweetsista*, I advise you to listen to "Breathe No More". It's beautiful and may change your mind about Evanescence.

3: In a comment written about "Give Unto Me", the writer said that the lyrics had Christian value. Amy Lee has sworn that though she is Christian (one thing she and I don't have in common- she's Christian, I'm Wiccan) she does not in any way incorporate Christian values into her songs.

Any band can write a song with lyrics and a catchy tune, but very few bands such as Evanescence can take their feelings and express it into a song, which is what making music is all about.

For ur information *sweet_sista* britney spears cant sing and she only sells stuff for her body unlike amy lee, she sings about what shes been through, it is so heartfelt, ilove it!

Evanescence is definately the greatest band in the world!!!!!!!! Amy Lee sings so beautiful I cant believe it. And also- I like the way her clothes stand out. We dont need another anorexic-sex goddess pop star wearing her lingerie. And also- sweet sista you are a whore. Britney's the one who cant sing and yes- Amy Lee wears bright colors, but she puts them into her own style. So if your reading this sweet sista- FUCK YOU

I could listen to their music forever! Imaginary is my favorite song. I love to play it over and over and disappear from 'real' life.

Evanescence is one out of two of THE GREATESTS bands (the other is Seether.lol)! I love Amy Lee's vocals, and all of the piano, guitar and drums. Together it just makes this beautiful sound. Her lyrics are so chilling, too. It's this awesome music that u don't wanna stop listing to. It's breath-taking. I definatly reccomend this band to EVERYONE!! xD =D

Evanescence is very good band, I like it very much. Amy Lee sings like (as that Britney fan was saying) her life depended on it, and it is REAAAALLY beautiful. I started to like recently, after discovering "Hello", in my opinion the best song of Fallen. Their goth stayle is insteresting, though their work only speaks about death...and blood...and lies...and death...and pain...and tears...and death...and despair...suicide...darkness...um, death?

But the melody and Amy's voice ROCK!

(Evanescence's fever has passed here in Brazil long time ago, but I'm not known for going with the stream...while everyone is)
