I was unaware Amy wrote it about a sibling who had passed away, but it makes even more sense now that I know that. My best friend drowned in a swimming accident when I was 7. Now 22, listening to this song helped me to get over a pain that I had burried so deeply for so long that I didn't even know it existed. When a song is written this beautifully with so much emotion poured into it from the heart, you can't help but be touched by it. Everyone interperets music differently, but there is no doubt about its ability to help heal. Thankyou Amy, hearing your pain helped me deal with mine.
