I am not an Eric Clapton fan, but the man I fell in love with dedicated this beautiful song to our love. He has since relocated but somehow the continents between us seemed to shrink and time seem to stand still whenever I hear this song and remember the way he looked at me and the feel of his arms around me.

love the melody ... not the words ... reminds me of telling someone they are wonderful because of their long blonde hair and everyone turning to see... driving home, headache, puts him to bed ... reminds me of driving someone home that drank too much... yucky...no one needs to agree but the meaning behind the words feel insulting to me...

I dated a guy for a while and this was the first song we ever danced to. In a restaurant nonetheless. We broke up for a couple of years and now were planning on getting married. This will be the song I dance to.

A month after I met my boyfriend and he had to fly back to his home in a different state played this song, which i had never heard before that moment. My wonderful boyfriend of 4 years played this song which we danced to as I cried my eyes out. I didn't know when i would see him again. Funny thing is, he moved back here a month later. I fell in love with a "wonderful" kid when we were 16 years old. He was learning how to play guitar. It took him some time, but he learned it. That was 25 years ago. He plays it alot better now! We've been through it all: living together, being marred, having a baby, major illness, getting a divorce, marring others, divorcing others, but mostly being best friends. He still plays it for me; I still get that same "goosey" feeling just like when I was a kid. This is by far, one of the best songs written..."EVER"

a few weeks ago there was this girl that i was getting into, and it was close to valentine's day i was trying to figure out what to make this a special day, i decided to look the stuff that she's into and found this song on her favorite list. i checked it out and fell in love with the song. i was thinking of singing this song to her, but things didn't go well i didn't get to serenade her with the song cuz something happened and now well lets say that we are not in speaking terms. but i still like this song its really good kinda reminds me of her beautiful smile.

I am currently in a long distance relationship with my GF and we go to seperate colleges. We both know we want to be with each other the rest of our lives with each other. I just got home from visiting her and am missing her terribly ALREADY. Then i this song came on my ipod on random on the train home and i had to go into the bathroom because i jsut started to cry because i realized how much in LOVE with her i am.
