In saying the best of Porter, I am, of course, saying the best of the best. I am 88 and have beena Porter devotee for 76 of those years, Although not on the same level as "Begin The Begin" o "Night and Day" "Let's Do It" has always been my favorite. It is magnificently clever. The 3 linnes starting with "In shallow shoals English soles do it" are Porter at his very best.

That's pretty much all I have to say about this song. Cole Porter was a great songwriter and I think this is one of his most brilliant songs. Does anyone, however, know where I can find a copy that says that people in Japan, chimpanzees in zoos, etc do it?
