To me it's disapointing to see that you guys are missing the whole point here,the song is about a guy who is lonely and sad and he's expressing it in the song which I,my girlfriend and my kids enjoy listening to without any type of arguments about the lyrics. So relax,peace out and thank God for music.

I think the de ba bee means if i was greeni would die becuase no one whants to be green and i dont think its the dye becuase he has a girlfriend and she is blue so being green would be a bad thing becuase every thing to him is blue. I know this song and i love it.

I am relatively not able to beleive what you posted. Ive been to the concert. Never heard ANYTHING graphic. I hear at the concert Du Ba Dee Da Buh Die. Okay. EVERYONE! If you want to know the real freaking lyrics get the CD case it comes in. The song says Im Blue (Da Ba Dee). I have reread it about 50 freaking times after arguing aobut it to my friend. So shutup about it and move on. Continue to make up stupid lyrics if you want. But the CD case wouldnt lie and if it did they would have fixed it by now. So move on.

This song , is a song you can listen to. and it can fit into all sorts of different lines such as if i were green i would die ... i belive i can die .. and so on, Theres so many things that it could be people are beliving what they wont to here ,

ive been reading your reviews on the lyrics and there is only one correct person, and he is the one that went to the concert. If you listen closly he dose not say da ba dee. it is 'im in need of a dye'. This would make sense as he only sees blue. In conclusion i would just like to point out that if you continue to believe the lyrics are 'da ba dee' then you are a complete retard. good day

i dont know when this song came out but i know it was a fair while ago, nd yous r still arguing about the lyrics lol, it aint no stairway to heaven, whats the big deal about knowing what the exact lyrics are anyway? is that the new way to be kool or something? cuz i just didnt catch on :S

It's says that he is "blue" Blue house, Blue window Blue World! Way can't anyone just understand that they're sad? Usually when we say blue it's Sad, Right so please, sometimes we say what we feel in other ways but the singers sang what they feeel. So stop saying, "suicide letter, Suicide Note" what nonsense!
Blue is Sad, Red is Love, Yellow is Happy so whatever!

This is such a beautiful song, just leave it alone. The lyrics are so strangely charming! The tune just carries you away stop freakin' ruining it. Listen to yourselves-"I'm in need of a dime/dye/guy, If i were green i would die what" is wrong with you people? None of this would make sence if it was actually a part of the lyrics! It just says Da ba Dee again and again so just live with it. Find a way to use your enerdy so that you make yourself useful in some way, instead of waisting your time, ruining goregous lyrics!

if u go out and buy the album it says on the front of the disc da ba dee and you can find the original lyrics through google they are: i will bleed, i will die they had to change them for some kids music show or something look it up
and it is NOT i repeat NOT if i was green i would die never was never will be
