This song is typical fro what's going wrong since the late nineties: Brainless "entertainment" at a level which just brainwashed and tastelest consumers can stand...
Is this music??? - Nope; music stopped with Britney Spears...
- Just compare 80ies popmusic with that started in the late 90ies.
80ies: Content of importance (Alphaville, Ultravox, Cohen, Pink Floyd...) or superb entertainment also with parallels to world-history, media, society, etc. (Dire Straits, A-ha, Tears for Fears, even Jackson,...).
since late 90ies: "Shemales" as Eamon and over-casted, most "girls and boys from next door"-images "singers", "singing" from "love", "feelings" and "sex"... - Nothing else...
This society has gone totally crazy and worthless...
(By the way: Compare the ages of the 80ies and the late 90ies and current "musicians"...) |
