"this song.... is so weird!
''Help- he's my brother, but I love her
I can't keep away from her touch''
pretty fucking contradicting! "

I think you misunderstand. This is the Sleeper's brother speaking - 'Help, he's (Sleeper) my brother, but I love her (Victoria)'

the sleeper: Victoria's ex-boyfriend; he has a problem with drug addiction, as evidenced by the lines take me higher line, victoria pulled away from him
the miracle: sleeper's brother. He came to victoria after the breakup, and fell in love with her in spite of his brother`s feelings
Nicholas: well, this is the present time; btw Victoria = nicholas in his other life in case you didnt know

This is simply one of the best DT songs ever! What can I say?
It has a tension building up in the beginning, a burning bassline and oriental sounds...combined with not-of-this earth melody and breaks.
The weird lyrics come from the main theme of the concept album.

RE: Confusing lyrics | Reviewer: Anonymous | 9/27/07

The lines in question are about a man who, in spite of himself, is falling love with his brother's girlfriend. The "he" is his brother and the "her" is the brother's girlfriend.

Great song, BTW. This is the one that really pulls the albulm together.
