This song is awesome, dragonforce is awesome. I've been listening to these guys for awhile now (also pantera, slayers, trivium, shadows falls etc).

I think that no matter who or how they found this song whether its from GH3 (heck i play gh3 too, as well as real electric guitar) just let these "new fans" appreciate the EXACT same song and band that "original fans" are listening to. It's not about who listened to it first or whatever.. if you enjoy the song or band, hey good for u! if you found them off a friend of even GH3, heck good for u too!

It's nice that other people appreciates the same music/song/band that I like.

Iron Maiden, Van Halen, not even Pantera can match up to the pure unrestrained energy and power that this song creates. A constant building adrenaline rush with a morbid and bloody lyrical base. DragonForce has shown they can produce one hell of a song, yet just as every band before them, they'll have to give it twice the effort to best this one on their next attempt. This song will however go down in the history books as the most powerful power metal ballad of the decade, lest they best themselves before 2010.

(P.S., don't bash on the better than IM, VH, and Pantera line either, for they could have easily outperformed DF in their primes [i.m.o., Eddie still could...Van Halen Eddie, not Iron Maiden Eddie...though he could too I suppose...being a zombie and all...but anyways, this is DragonForce's moment, so let it be :)

Lmao I've been listening to df for years, but even people who've been following them from the start still had their first time they heard them so does it really matter if it's a 10 year old playing gh3 or an "old" fan, it's a sweet fucking band and a sweet fucking song so let's just get over ourselves, ok?

Firstly, if you like speed, clean lyrics, insane guitar riffs and a song bound to get your adrenalin flowing, get this song.

Lastly, I have to say this. Why the hell are you all fighting over a freaking song, about whether the people are true musicians, whether they can play a guitar worth a fuck. Honestly the 12 year old flamers need to get a life. This is a lyrics website, not a fansite. i whole heartedly agree with that, just because you listened to them for 12 years doesnt mean they're good and no one else is allowed to like them. I have to tell you, i listened to all of their other songs and "through fire and flames" is the only one worth while. No wonder no one knew it before GH3. Good song, Bad band. Keep it real DF fans. I don't play GH, and never heard of this song until I saw the video on Fuse yesterday. I just thought "damn, that shit is fierce". Am I not a 'real fan' either? Dang it. I was really looking forward to a bunch of middle schoolers accepting me over the internet.

I heard of this song from Guitar Hero III and I fucking liked it and wanted to know the words. And as far guitar hero making people think they're musicians-no it doesn't. I play with other musicians (I play six instruments including the guitar in my college bands) and it does not make anyone think they are a musician, or guitar player.
