I will be waiting for a long time since some won't be coming home in spirit but just in body. It relates to me and a guy while i was up on vacation and i met him at a pier in Wisconsin. We spent the whole night talking and i found out that he had been in the military for 2 years but hadn't gone to war. We've kept in touch and now he is going off to war in 3 months. I cry everytime i listen to this song, because it's so similar to the situation i have. I have such a great appreciation for all the soldiers, and everyone needs to realize what they put their lives through just keep ours free.
