In my country we have two national sports: hockey and criticizing the government.We have to tell our governement when we're unhappy otherwise it'll keep on making mistakes. People who voted for the person in place seem to forget that some people didn't vote for him, and it's their right. We should also understand that many of the decisions taken by the government are not gonna make everybody happy. It's our right as citizens to ask for better care of our tax money and so on... When I see America getting fatter, sicker and poorer, etc, everyday, I think people have a right to think that tax money should take care of the people living in the u.s. instead of strangers in another country. You should all open your eyes: they have soldiers in Irak because they have money interests over there (petroleum). They spent billions and billions of dollards (YOUR MONEY) to have their own bank accounts full. They don't care about you... if they did, they woudn't have your young men getting killed over there. When Nathalie Maines said what she said, she meant that she wasn't happy with President's Bush decisions. We have to read between the lines. She has a right to her own opinion. I'm sick of people putting down women all the time, because they speak their mind. If the world was run by women, there wouldn't be so much chaos and conflicts. The song made me cry because i'm sad that a simple comment made people lose their mind so much that the group had to stop for awhile. They are the best female group that ever existed and their talent is pushed aside because some people can't be contradicted 'cos they think they're so better than everybody else. It's easy to say that war is good: we're not at war! How can you praise for Travellin' soldier and be glad they die. You are being brainwashed to believe that having your sons, friends, husbands and brothers get killed is a good thing. Killing is wrong, no matter who it is. I do have one other thing to respond to though, a reviewer said this: "They are entitled to their wrong and stupid opinions." The person right- they are entitled to their opinion and I DO NOT think it is right of you to called it stupid or wrong. You have your opinion and they have theirs.
