On November 1st, 2006 we found out that we were having a bouncing baby boy. As much as my poor wife wanted a girl, she was just as happy to have a boy. During her pregnancy, his first concert was the Dixie Chicks. All through her pregnancy, all we did was listen to the Dixie Chicks. One day we came across this song and it brought tears to my eyes because it fits the bill so much when it comes to my wife when they say god bless mommy and matchbox cars.... I listened to it so many times and never would I have imagined that this song would touch my life. My only son was killed in a hiking accident in 2006. Listening to this song now I can't believe what it means to me now. Little did I know back in 2002 when it came out that a few yrs later I would be listening to it and grieving for my son. It will be a yr of his death on June 24th I can't imagine what that day will bring. I'm very thankful that I will have this song to bring me comfort. Five years ago our fist grandbaby boy was born early and in critical condition. From the first time I was able to hold him, I began to sing to him Godspeed...
