I usually only listen to rock/heavy metal (sorry if I am getting the genres mixd up) when I wanna get pumped up to go to the gym. I somehow stumbled upon this song STRICKEN, hell I downloaded it by accident. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST SONGS I HAVE EVER LISTENED TO MY ENTIRE LIFE! Maybe I am impartial because I am going through a breakup and Im torn all up inside but real shyt, Lyrically this song is sick!!!! The guitar solo kicks ass the whole damn song is just ILL! I don't even care for rock music like that but I can honestly say that this is and will go on my personal lists of best songs ever written/preformed of all time regardless of genre. Well maybe some of us... And through GH I've really been exposed to a whole lot of different bands of all sorts of genres. What's wrong with someone who picks up on a band through a video game? I play guitar hero occasionally, and I've discovered some bands through it, by getting more and more albums by artists. I discovered Megadeth through guitar hero, and they just ended up being my favorite band since then. At least we have gifts like guitar hero to not only enjoy playing, but to evolve our musical tastes by featuring songs from a wide variety of genres. In conclusion, you, my friend, are the fag and need to quit criticizing other people for how they experience new music. Instead of taking up review space bashing guitar hero fans, why don't you just keep your comments focused on the music, dickhead. I realize I took up space talking shit, but I'm making a valid point. Bottom line - Stricken is a badass track and anyone who likes any kind of metal should check it out. You won't be disappointed. Amazing song, amazing Band, DISTURBED | Reviewer: SRR1550 | 5/19/09 Wow, this is an amazing song by an amazing band. I had first heard Disturbed through a video game, Need For Speed Most Wanted. I heard Decadence and was like "WOW!!! THIS SONG ROCKS!!!!", and gradually listened more to them. I recently got a hold of "Ten Thousand Fists" along with a different album, at first I did not like some of their stuff (most from The Sickness), but eventually heard the actual sound of it. They are an amazing band and this is an amazing song, along with most of their other stuff, it can get a lot of attention. Check out the rest of their stuff too, and for all you gh fags who only get songs through that game, go get a fucking life. Stricken | Reviewer: Matthieu | 5/14/09 Well I'm 15 years old and i heard about Disturbed a few years ago but i didn't like metal u know im a old rock lover but i heard Stricken and liked and not long after this one of my friend shown me Inside the fire and i instantly loved it so i listened to other songs and from now on every night i listen to Disturbed. As of GH3 it's totally true and for the quality of the riff's and lyrics they are totally perfect. The first verse happened to me a few months ago and I was listening this song all the time.
